I have inserted a brand new HDD into the HDD docking station but my computer cannot see it.
Check if the docking station is powered on.
Check the USB cable is correctly connected or try another USB port on your PC.
Check if there is a partition on the HDD. Check manual for more information.
I have inserted my old mac HDD into the docking station, but cannot see it on my Windows computer
Windows does not support reading of HFS+ file formats, so connect the docking station to a Mac computer to see the content of the disk.
I cannot write data to the disk when it is connected to my Mac computer, but no problem on my Windows computer.
The file format of the disk is most likely NTFS, and can only be read of Mac computers, and not written to. Please change the file system format to FAT32 if the disk is used for backup for both Mac and Windows computers. Be aware that when changing file system format on a disk, it will delete all data on the disk.
The docking station has been cloning my disk for more than 2 hours now, is something wrong?
No, the cloning process is very long, and vary a lot depending on the size of the HDD being cloned.
The clone function does not work.
Please make sure that the docking station is NOT connected to a PC via the USB cable.
